Crestview Electrical

These postings are associated with the fire cache construction project in Banff National Park.

We’re looking to bring 1 or 2 people on board by mid-April and are open to candidates ranging from entry-level 1st year apprentices to highly experienced journeyperson electricians. Apprentices will support basic tasks such as pulling wire, installing boxes and conduit, assembling/disassembling tools, and equipment, and learning to interpret blueprints under the guidance of journeypersons or foremen.

As skills develop, apprentices will take on more responsibilities. Journeyperson electricians are expected to perform advanced tasks including panel terminations, system troubleshooting, reading detailed electrical drawings, and ensuring all work complies with applicable codes and safety standards. They may also supervise apprentices, coordinate with other trades, and assist with layout and planning. Preference will be given to candidates with commercial experience and strong conduit bending skills.

Anyone interested in applying, or finding out more about opportunities on this project is invited to reach out to George Gikas, at George.Gikas@stuartolson.com.
